How long does DNS propagation take in Namibia?
DNS propagation is mostly cache expiry. If a record had a long TTL, some resolvers may keep the old answer until that timer expires.
Why people see different results
- Different ISPs use different recursive resolvers.
- Phones and routers may cache old answers.
- Browsers may cache redirects or SSL state.
- Authoritative nameservers may not all have the same zone data.
What matters most
The authoritative nameserver answer is the source of truth. If it is correct, the remaining question is usually cache timing. If it is wrong, waiting will not fix it.
